A bit of background…
It wasn’t my intention to become a professional resume writer.
While I was in graduate school for writing, I worked for a recruiter and one of my responsibilities was to make job candidates’ resumes more attractive to employers. At first, writing resumes was a merely an exercise in wordsmithing. However, I soon saw the results of my efforts: the better the resumes, the more interviews we scheduled. The more interviews we scheduled, the more jobs we placed. Since job placements are bread-and-butter to a recruiter, my work was good for business—and great for job seekers.
After I earned my degree and moved on from the recruiting firm, word spread quickly about my services. Within six months, I was working to capacity.
It was wildfire.
Year after year, the job market changes, new technologies emerge, and the needs of my clients continue to evolve. For this reason, and because I genuinely love this work, I stay on top of the latest trends in resume writing, LinkedIn profile development, and personal branding.
I’m a Certified Executive Resume Master (CERM) and Certified Master Resume Writer (CMRW) with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in writing and background in recruiting. Over the past 18+ years, I have worked with 5,000+ executives, board candidates, job hunters, entrepreneurs, and consultants at the C-suite, EVP, VP, director, manager, and entry levels. Most of my clients find me through word-of-mouth referrals, and I've consistently been recognized by peers and clients alike for professionalism, originality, and creating documents that deliver fast-turnaround results.
