I am committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should I ask you to offer certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. I may change this policy by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 20, 2018.

What I do with the information gathered

When you fill out my Contact page, I require some basic information to understand your needs and provide you with exceptional service, in particular for the following reasons:

  • Communication directly with you

  • Internal record keeping

  • Project planning

  • Designing or improving products and service

Also, I may send a thank-you note to the person who referred you.

I do not use your information for marketing or making automated decisions.

Third parties

I handle purchases through PayPal, a secure third-party service. They handle information differently than I do, and I urge you to review their privacy policy for details. I am not accountable for information that you send to or upload through their site.

If you purchase writing services from Compelling Resumes, you are giving me permission to email your documents, which include your name, contact information, career history, and other information, to my professional copyeditor and support staff, who have signed confidentiality agreements.

If you order my Resume Distribution Service, you are giving me permission to send your completed resume, e-note, and recruiter search criteria to a third party, a colleague of mine, who handles the distribution.

If you order a full LinkedIn profile with your order, I may upload the content to your LinkedIn site at your request. In this instance, I will request a copy of your LinkedIn username and password, which I will discard after your project is finished. Please create a temporary password before sending this information to me, to protect yourself. I perform this service as a courtesy, and I am not accountable for your privacy or the handling of your personal/professional information on LinkedIn. Please review LinkedIn’s own privacy policy for details on their practices.

With the exception of the above instances, and only with your permission, I never sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties in any way.
